Who Do I Call After I Move In?
You can schedule an appointment by calling the subcontractor directly. Please remember for 12 months from the date you closed on your home, you can call the suppliers directly with situations that come up. After the 12 month warranty expires, you will be financially responsible for any calls made to subcontractors.
Warranty Service Request
Please use this form to notify us of warranty items. With the exception of immediate problems upon move in, please allow your house at least 30 days to "settle". It is recommended that 3 months be allowed to pass and then evaluate your home for minor adjustments. Mail or fax this form to us with the contact information below. We will contact you to set up an inspection appointment. Service orders will be issued for work to be performed.
Helpful Information
Security System: Your new security system can be monitored by any company you like. You will need to contact them directly to set up monitoring service. Please do not call the electrician for monitoring service.
The temporary pass code is "1234"
You can program your special code by following the instructions located in the cabinet drawer
Garage Key Pad ( outside garage door): This pad has not been programmed. Instruction can be found in cabinet drawer or in keypad itself.
Touch ups: You will find Quarts of paint in the laundry room cabinet for every color in the house including the ceilings, stain for the steps and front door. A quart of exterior paint was also provided.
Taking Care of your New Lawn
Your new lawn consists of rolls and squares of Bermuda grass grown on local sod farms. New lawns need lots of water to ensure that the grass takes root. Some areas of sod will do better and grow faster than others. You may notice light and dark or brown spots in your yard. This is normal as your yard condition will vary from one side to the other due to sunlight, soil conditions, water runoff, shade, etc.
From the time your new yard was installed, it has been cared for to provide the best chance for survival. Grass seed was spread in any area that did not "green" as quickly as the rest in order to ensure the best possible lawn as it grows this year. You will need to continue to nurture your new yard after you move in.
